Not sure which hair type to choose? Here are some recommendations according to type, to help with decision making along the way…

So-Pro Hair & Beauty offers 4 different types of hair (Peruvian, Brazilian, Indian, and Malaysian) for your choosing. These hair types have 4 key differences: density, texture, color, and thickness.

PERUVIAN hair is naturally finer and less dense but lighter in weight, while presenting a naturally wavy texture. The color range presented in peruvian hair can be somewhat lighter; more medium to light brown vs your normal natural black (1b).
>> SPHBs’ professional recommendation: choose this hair type if your natural hair is fine and less dense-and you desire a natural look. Also if you plan to curl your hair whether thermal or with rollers, this hair type will hold curl better. This type is also good if you desire a nice clean, straight look; and should you decide to color this hair it should lift easier due to its naturally lighter canvas. *Note: if you prefer yaki this hair type is recommended!

BRAZILIAN hair is recognised for its natural density and volume-can be coarser. Brazilian hair is also naturally darker, closer to black or dark brown.
>> SPHBs’ professional recommendation: choose this hair type if your hair is naturally finer and/or limp, and you desire a more volumized look. While all 4 types can be thermally curled, this hair will require cooling after curling, before styling. Should you decide to color this hair, it may require some pre-lightning first. *Note: if you prefer yaki this hair type is not recommended!

INDIAN hair is naturally straighter and silkier.
>> SPHBs’ professional recommendation: choose this hair type if your natural hair is fine and less dense-and you desire a natural look. While this hair appears much silkier than the other it is less likely to hold thermal curls as well as others. Should you decide you would rather a wavy/curly look with this hair type, body wave or island curl is recommended. *Note: you may have some luck with thermal styling with the body wave texture. Also, if you prefer yaki this hair type is recommended!

MALAYSIAN hair naturally appears fuller, due to its thicker strands.
>> SPHBs’ professional recommendation: choose this hair type if your natural hair is fine and less dense-and you desire a fuller look. If you desire “big hair,” this hair type in island curl is recommended. *Note: if you prefer yaki, this hair type is not recommended!
