Determining whether to use a comb or brush when detangling

Having trouble choosing a comb or brush for detangling? Here are some ways to help along the way…

Truthfully, either works well; however I prefer a brush over combs for weft hair. See, wide tooth combs can somtimes miss smaller tangles, whereas brushes catch it all.

Now, if you are detangling hair attached to the head (whether a wig or natural), combs work better-however same applies if small tangles are present.
When detangling, it is important to break the hair down into sections for better control. If it appeases you, you can start with a comb… if that does the job properly, continue; but ultimately, use your discretion about which tool you will need… judge according to the level of tangle you are up against.
